PLAN|NJ HOSTS FIRST-EVER FAMILY NIGHT OUT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND FAMILIES

“This was our chance to bring together the families, businesses, nonprofits, state and local leaders who make up the disability rights community,” said Ellen Ball Nalven, Executive Director. “We wanted to let more families know of our available services and thank the many organizations and individuals who help us form circles of support for individuals with disabilities.”

HOSTS FIRST-EVER FAMILY NIGHT OUT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND FAMILIES

Over 500 members of the disability rights community Attend Somerset Patriots Ballgame

(September 3, 2021 Somerville, NJ) More than 500 family members, partners and friends filled the TD Bank Ballpark Thursday, August 26 as Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of New Jersey, Inc. (PLAN|NJ) celebrated its Family Night Out at the Somerset Patriots Ballgame.

PLAN|NJ hosted the event after a year of isolation and challenge due to the pandemic. Chelsea Palermo sang the National Anthem, while Joseph Spann threw out the first pitch; both are members of the PLAN|NJ family. Many community leaders came onto the field to show their support for people with disabilities. A portion of the proceeds from the evening’s 50/50 Raffle will directly benefit the beneficiaries and families served by PLAN|NJ.
