F. Gary Knapp, CFA
Gary Knapp worked in fixed income portfolio management at PGIM for 33 years. There he specialized in portfolio strategies and investment risk management for insurance companies and pension funds. He is a past Trustee of a pension plan in the UK. He earned a B.S. in Mathematics & Physics from Haverford College and a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Brown University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Since retiring from PGIM in 2018, Mr. Knapp has served on the National Leadership Council for Lambda Legal (New York, NY) and on the Performing Arts Committee of the Morris Museum (Morristown, NJ). As chair of the PLAN|NJ Investment Committee, Gary contributes his significant expertise, and coordinates the other committee members who provide their extraordinary knowledge and experience to oversee the investments of the Special Needs Trusts that PLAN|NJ administers.

OUR MISSION
PLAN|NJ’s mission is to help family members of people with disabilities answer the question:
“Who will care for my loved one when I'm gone?”
We coordinate the supports needed by individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities, and challenges with mental health, including people with autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, severe mental illness and more.
